Arielle Charnas Expands Something Navy Brand Team

Arielle Charnas, the super blogger behind Something Navy, is launching her own clothing brand in the Fall of 2018 and has hired two new team members to support and manage the brand.

On April 20th, the Something Navy Brand announced Anna Chudnovsky as their new social media coordinator. Chudnovsky is a New York based photographer, social media manager, and creative director. Her portfolio features colorful, editorial-style photos with significant work for the brand Half-Mad, including their campaign with Sophia Macks of Beyond The Mag last December. She has also worked with many influencers and models including Kallie Kaiser, Keighty Schmid, and Youtuber Griffin Arnlund. Some fun facts shared about her on the SN Brand Instagram: she has a dog named Bowie and shared sushi with Justin Bieber once.

Yesterday, May 8th, the brand also announced Something Navy Brand’s new Brand Director Tara Foley. Before joining the Something Navy team, Foley worked as an account executive for Zimmerman and Helmut Lang and most recently did a brief stint as a Sales Manager for Proenza Schouler. She’s a graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Business where she received a Bachelors in International Business and Marketing. Her fun facts shared by the brand include her addiction to dairy-free ice cream and love for scary movies.

Tara and Anna join the rest of Arielle’s team, which includes Brand Coordinator Nikki Weisman and COO Jane Roggen.

The creation of the stand alone Something Navy Brand follows a collaboration she did with brand in September of last year. In an interview with WWD, Charnas said the brand will feature clothing for “the basic girl but a little more elevated — chic, accessible, on-trend, feminine. We’re keeping in mind what most girls wear but we want them to feel like they’re in something that’s cooler and high-end.” The collection will be available at Nordstrom.
